Microsoft Mahjong follows an algorithm that positions and organizes tiles such that players can easily match them when required. Though the concept of the game seems simple enough, completing different puzzles can get tricky as well as addictive. To win the game, you’ll have to remove all visible tiles. The tiles that match will disappear and reveal tiles hiding underneath. To match similar tiles, you must click on two one after the other. As soon as you start, the screen places a set of Mahjong tiles in front of you. Once you download Microsoft Mahjong, you can install the software and begin playing. Apart from layout choices, you can also choose from five background options and four collections of tiles. It also includes the original Mahjong tiles with several colors and print variations. Each of these layouts is a stylized presentation of the chosen animal or item.
There are six available layouts, including Cat, Dragon, Crab, Turtle, Spider, and Fortress. The program has a simple interface that’s easy to maneuver. Mahjongg for Mac isn’t as polished as its Microsoft counterpart, but it has a few features that make it worth a look.
While the game isn’t available on Mac devices, it does have a similar alternative. It includes a range of features like improved graphics, multiple title options, and background changes. The latest version of Mahjong is published by Microsoft Studios and works on all Windows devices.
